Squads
WSBA squads are based on age groups, and each squad is led and managed by Age Group Coaches. These are level 2 Badminton England qualified and BE registered coaches, who have regular DBS checks, and have first aid and safeguarding qualifications. Our Assistant Coaches are BE registered and Level 1 qualified.
Under 10 Squad
The earliest entry into WSBA is through the U10 squad.
The U10 Squad focuses on the following areas;
Development of the basic throwing action for overhead shots;
Development of the player’s movement and striking action to perform the basic badminton strokes;

Under 19 Squad
Our U19s are still training by invitation only having previously trained with the county.
Due to Covid many players missed out on inter-county competitions such as Shires League and ICT. As such Shires league is currently running in U12/13,
